I was so excited when my cousin called me up to ask me to help with her 12-year-old daughter Alison's bedroom. They were already planning to update the space, but Allison was adamant about switching things up from the rest of the home's shabby chic style. You know teenagers—always wanting to follow in the opposite footsteps as their parents. 😂

After moving from an apartment to a quaint duplex in the gorgeous Zilker neighborhood, the Silapachai's needed some help getting re-inspired by their new (and smaller) living room. The original footprint of their furniture just didn't quite transition into the new space as well as they were hoping... So, they enlisted my help and we went to work to develop a Spruce Kit design that would create a functional space for entertaining! Check it out!
Fireplaces are such a focal point of any home! Not only are they traditionally the marker of where a family gathers, over time their presence has sort of evolved into this pedestal where homeowners can show off their unique personalities through their favorite knick-knacks, collections and photos. Get ready for a whole lot of cuteness with this behind the scenes reveal of a playroom spruce for a growing Austin-based family! The Sues family dreamed of this room becoming a family gathering place to spend quality time together with their children. It previously functioned as a reading room for mom, Kaileen. But, the original design grew outdated as the Sues began transitioning their life to a family of four.
Right before the holidays I finished an exciting Spruce Kit for a sweet client, and thought it would be fun to share the design with y'all! I'm calling this living and dining room transformation the "Eclectic Marfa Retreat," based on the bold mix of colors and natural finishes! One of the first things my client mentioned to me when we sat down to chat was how much she loved color. She was also inspired to incorporate collections from her travels and to create an overall cozy feeling to her open-plan living space.
I recently finished a home staging project for a local Austin family looking to make a big move, and I'm so excited to reveal the transformation!The McLoud's had their home sitting on the market for around 100 days before contacting me. They were having trouble attracting interested buyers and wanted to enlist some help with updating their listing.
The raw wood trend has been all the rage, and has recently inspired an ultra-modern twist on pegboards. In the past couple months I’ve helped two of my clients, Natalie and Pei, create pegboard-inspired feature walls in their home offices as a part of their Spruce Kit pacakges, and couldn’t be happier with how well these capture both of these girls' personalities. You guys! I just finished a Spruce for a vintage-inspired, multi-use entertainment space, and I couldn’t help but share the preliminary designs! This particular project was done for a couple of my dear friends, Maggie and Austen. After being in their home for a little over a year, they were still struggling to piece together furniture and decor for their downstairs living room.
When Chelsea Francis (@ohhhchelsea) asked me to reimagine her office and transform it into a happy, rejuvenating workspace I was beyond excited! We chatted about her needs and how she uses her space, as well as some of the things she loved/hated about her current office setup.
