It's ONE week until Thanksgiving—that's just cray!
In honor of the celebration, I created a super simple D.I.Y. table runner for my upcoming Friendsgiving dinner! I made it using inexpensive materials and it only took me about five minutes from start-to-finish. Here's a quick tutorial on how to make your very own:
DIY MODERN GRID TABLE RUNNER
PROJECT TIME: 5-10 MINUTES
SUPPLIES:
Cotton Fabric
Square Dowel
Fabric Ink
Plastic Mat
Brayer
Fine-tip Marker
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mark your fabric with your marker. I marked every 6" vertically and every 1" from the horizontal edges.
- Paint your dowel with fabric paint, using the brayer.
- Firmly press the dowel on your fabric along your pre-marked lines until you've achieved the grid pattern.
After letting the runner dry completely, I styled it with some of my favorite products from the Love Ding shop. It all came together to create this inviting and warm tablescape.
And lastly, Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the addition of few sweet treats to your display! A few weekends ago I attended Maggie Miller's "Own Your Why" Workshop, where she helps small business owners understand all about how to target your audience with honest marketing—stuff I had never thought of! Anyways, she served little tarts during the workshop to help get our creative juices flowing, and they are seriously so yummy! They're also the perfect colors for fall, so... I had to steal the recipe and pass it along to you guys.
Hope you enjoy!
